Fatigue behavior of reinforced concrete beams with high strength deformed bars
Experimental study was carried out to determine fatigue strength of reinforced concrete beams longitudinally reinforced with high strength deformed bars; large T-shaped beams were tested to provide basis for comparison of flexural strengths under static and fatigue loadings; total of 29 beams were loaded at two symmetrically located points of 4.6 m span; 16 types of round and various deformed bars having different yield strengths and deformations were used for longitudinal reinforcement in test beams; concrete of beams had compressive strengths of 300 and 400 kg/ sq cm; testing procedure and results are discussed.
