Relation of depth to curvature of channels
Results of writer's investigations into law of river hydraulics; two empiric formulas have been devised by means of which cross-profile of channel may be computed; some characteristics of law were also disclosed, which are believed to be most important discoveries in that law in more than 50 years; practical applications of these formulas are given which furnish solution to problems that heretofore have been considered not susceptible of solution.
