Some aspects of problem of shear in reinforced concrete beams
Tests carried out at Bldg Research Station, Great Britain, are described; attention is drawn to certain aspects of problem of shear in reinforced concrete beams which have not been considered by research workers. May. Compression failure of webs; crushing of concrete in bends of stirrups; anchorage of stirrups; fracture of stirrups at bends; vertical and inclined stirrups.
