Hangars of prestressed concrete at airport in Brussels-Melsbroek, Belgium
Original design provided 4 hangars 40 × 50 m; finally, 2 hangars were combined into one 40 × 115 m; roof consists of prestressed concrete beams which carry hollow reinforced concrete slabs, 1 × 7 m, 0.25 m thick. (See also Technique des Travaux v 24 n 9-10 Sept-Oct 1948 p 285-96)
