Construction of 1271 ft long steel arch bridge at Glen Canyon Dam, 680 ft above water surface; arch is 1028 ft long and has rise of 165 ft; bridge contains 1975 tons of carbon steel, 800 tons of it in arch and 1550 tons of alloy steel in arch; arch was constructed by using cableway, with two hooks.
