Interesting developments in shallow-domed roof construction
Two service reservoir roofs, recently completed for Biggleswade Water Board, incorporate new developments in shallow-dome roof construction for large circular vessels; 125 ft diam 16 ton roofs are unpainted aluminum alloy sections and sheet, and are self-supporting; it was possible to erect both without draining water from reservoirs.
