A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Response characteristics of ship are examined in light of nonlinear equation of motion for longitudinal surging and best available information on conditions of mooring, state of sea and time of tide; modes of oscillation of water body in nodal, biodal, quinquinodal seiches; rupture of mooring lines was caused by quinquinodal seiches.
