Die Wasserbewirtschaftung der westdeutschen Schiffahrtskanaele
Water regulation in West German navigation canals; description of present state of north-west German canal network which connects drainage areas of Rhine, Ruhr, Lippe, Ems, and Weser; short historical survey of canal construction and its main characteristics, topography of all canals considered (illustrated by maps and diagrams of lengths and elevations), as well as water supply and demand are presented; water demand peak reaches 19 cu m/sec and is usually covered by Lippe river watershed.
