Beach rehabilitation by hopper dredge
Field experiment conducted by U S Army Corps of Engineers to determine feasibility of rehabilitating ocean beaches by employing hopper dredges to unload and pump ashore sand directly from their hoppers, through submerged pipe line, while moored offshore in ocean environment; plant and equipment used and operational experience and results obtained are described.
