Drainage of leveed areas in mountainous valleys
Methods of disposing of drainage from streams tributary to leveed areas are outlined; characteristics of methods in fulfilling design criterion that local drainage must be disposed of without causing damage appreciably greater than if streams could flow unobstructed to main river at low stage; details of methods of analyzing local hydrology and developing capacity of drainage structures under various conditions.
