Expansion, contraction, and strength changes of some clays during firing
Objective of these experiments was to determine linear changes in expansion and shrinkage during firing, effect of compressive loading on these changes, and variations in strength at furnace temperatures during firing of some typical shales and fire clays used for manufacture of structural clay products.
