Study of pipe with concrete bedding
Method of structural analysis of buried water pipes partly or completely embedded in concrete to enhance their strength under earth loading where pipe and bedding act together as homogeneous structure; earth load, dead load, and internal pressure are considered; equations developed apply specifically to bedding angles of 180 or 360°; calculations of stresses throughout structure show no tendency for separation of pipe and bedding under load.
