Geographic position determined by intersection
Several geodetic distance intersection airborne surveying methods for determining geographic positions of points on earth's surface were developed; analytical solutions to geometric problems associated with three range, four range, and two range methods, and elevation solutions are described; geographic coordinates of point can be determined using slope distances only or slope distances and elevations measured from several points of known geographic position and elevation to point of unknown position.
