Test of highway pavement of federal expressway Wiesbaden-Frankfurt (Rhein-Main-Expressway)
This section built in 1951 and reconstructed many times between 1951 and 1962 was tested by boring two samples about 40 cm from each other in 11 places along 13 sections of expressway; samples were analyzed in respect to their stability at 60 C, slump, binder content, compaction, and density; tabulated results show usefulness of standardization of highway pavements.
