Passage is part of expressway along right bank of Seine river in Paris; its construction was particularly difficult and complicated as passage runs in direct proximity of Concorde bridge abutment built in 1793 of masonry founded on wooden piles; construction of reinforced concrete counterforts using bentonite grouting method, and construction of passage section over existing subway tunnel are described.
