Effect of mixing temperature on hardening of asphaltic binder in hot bituminous concrete
Tests on hardening of asphaltic binders designed to obtain information regarding effects of mixing temperature in range of 250-400 F, type of mix, aggregate composition, asphalt and plants; asphalt from samples of mixes was recovered by modified Abson method, and changes in penetration, ductility, softening point, and absolute viscosity were measured.
