Construction of highway bridge across Hawkesbury river at Peat's Ferry, N.S.W
Bridge includes two 440-ft truss spans, 45-ft plate web girder span, eight 90-ft plate web girder spans and eight 40 ft rolled steel joist spans; roadway is 30 ft wide, providing three traffic lanes, and 6-ft footway; caisson foundation and concrete pile foundation employed; truss spans were erected on falsework and transferred to their final positions by floating.
