Comparative tests on prestressed and reinforced concrete floors during and after fires
Tests were performed in furnace, floors being supported in refractory concrete encasement; test specimen and test procedure; after 1/2 hr heating there was little difference; maximum deflections were about same, but prestressed floor showed more rapid recovery; after 24-hr, residual deflections were very small for both types of floor.
