Reusable forms solve pier variables
Techniques used in construction of ChestnutHaskell Viaduct, designed to carry twin 4-lane express roadways up and over rail yards, service roads and local streets on segment of I-20 near downtown Dallas, Tex; heavy cap beams of long skewed piers were built without shoring, using paired I-beams as form supports; columns were cast in continuous pour, using form screw-adjusted for batter.
