Construction of Lake Pontchartrain Causeway. Oct n 10 p 60-3, 68, 70-1, 75, 79-80: Precasting plant working two 10-hr shifts per day, produced 48 200-ton prestressed deck slabs, and 48 pile caps every six day week for 24-mi bridge; job required 4886 prestressed cyclindrical piles, 2240 caps, and 2232 prestressed monolithic deck slabs.
