Bridge over Missouri River consists of two 3-span continuous units of 150, 185 and 150-ft spans; concrete deck and sidewalk carried by two variable depth plate girders; river piers consist of unreinforced concrete footing supporting circular column 10 ft in diam, extending to 2 ft above high water from which point rectangular column section 6 × 7 ft is used; they were built up to 58 ft within steel sheet pile cofferdams.
