Building is steel framed with concrete strip foundations, roof and floor slabs carried on light lattice trusses supported by steel stanchions; external walls are of cavity construction with outer skin of 4 in. and inner skin of 3 in. precast concrete blocks; ground floor is 6-in. concrete laid in two layers; maintenance hangar; hangar lighting.
