Development built by Connecticut Light and Power Co., consists of water reservoir covering 8.49 sq. mi.; capacity of lake is 213.5 millions cu. yd.; earth dam rests on concrete wall founded 5 ft. deep on sound rocks; generator, producing 30,000 kw. and 2 centrifugal pumps installed.
