Asbestos veins occur in altered peridotite which, with other closely associated intrusive rocks, are in what is called serpentine belt; an asbestos deposit is worked in 35 ft. levels, faces being blasted down with 38-ft. to 40-ft. holes; movements of all trains in and out of mine are controlled by dispatcher in traffic tower.
