Repairing cast iron generator component
British water gas plant became inoperable through complete break of large cast iron component on base of generator; after realignment of 2 halves, holes were drilled for Metalock keys \ill\ 65 apertures were prepared to receive total of 460 keys to repair 85 in. of fracture; this was followed by insertion of 320 Metalock studs and grinding to smooth surface.
