A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Properties of pulverized fuel ash likely to affect its use as fill material is assessed by testing of some typical ashes from British power stations; nature, production, and availability of ash, and increase in shear strength of moist compacted ash; testing by CBR test and by undrained triaxial tests; hardening was found to be pozzolanic in nature; method of specifying moisture content for hopper ash.
