A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
In 1910 test program was undertaken at Univ of Wisconsin to obtain information of effect of age and certain curing conditions on compressive strength of concrete; specimens from this investigation were made of 2 different mixtures and stored under water, out of doors and indoors; tests on specimens after 50 yr are compared with earlier compression test results; increases in compressive strength after 50 yr are noted.
