Measurement of aqueous conductivity of unfired ceramic bodies
Method is described for deriving aqueous conductivity of ceramic bodies from moisture outflow data obtained with pressure membrane cell; technique and analysis are illustrated by results found for brick clay; it is suggested method has considerable flexibility and should prove valuable for background studies in drying of ceramic articles prior to firing.
