Design features of slender reinforced concrete towers rising 368 ft above Lillebaelt shipping channel in Baltic Sea for Denmark's first suspension bridge to support longest prefabricated cables; two 4920 ft long main cables will support 3542 ft, all-welded orthotropic steel box girder superstructure with main span of 1968 ft and side spans of 787 ft; its back stays are 689 ft; prefabricated cables consist of either helical or parallel wire strands.
