It is shown how method can be adapted to irregular type structures; equations evolved are applied to main cable and hangers by considering horizontal and vertical equilibrium of end forces of each member; expression with respect to displacements of joints of suspension bridge is obtained; examples presented describe calculation of continuous suspension bridge under action of lateral loads and main tower which deforms in longitudinal direction of bridge.
