Effect of composition of chromium aluminum steels on susceptibility to spotty segregation
Basic cause of latter is, apparently, increased contamination of steels by refractory finely dispersed alumina inclusions; waste from defect is substantially reduced by preliminary deoxidation of metal with silicocalcium. (See also Stal v 21 n 3 Mar 1961 p 267-71)
