Fort Peck diversion tunnels redesigned for faster driving
By reducing interior diameter of four diversion tunnels at Fort Peck Dam from 26 ft to 24 ft 8 in., and by changing original design of lining from two layers of concrete and steel plate diaphragm to monolithic concrete, earlier completion of tunnels and corresponding diversion of river will be possible.
