Study on wave transformation inside surf zone
Wave transformation inside surf zone is treated analytically in this paper under several appropriate assumptions; theoretical curves computed numerically have consistent agreement with experimental data in case of wave transformation on horizontal bottom; in case of wave transformation on uniformly sloping beach, analytical treatment seems to be inadequate to clarify actual phenomena; numerous data on wave height attenuation and others are presented in graphical form.
