Selective isolation of carbazoles from crude oil
Abstract 1. A procedure has been developed for selective and complete isolation of carbazoles from residue (> 250°C) of Samotlor crude oil by means of adsorption chromatography on silica gel. 2. Impurities of other types of petroleum compound were not found by IR spectroscopy and low-voltage mass spectrometry in isolated carbozole specimens.
