Observation results of cross-wind response of towers and steel chimneys
Abstract The paper gives some information on vortex excitation effects of some types of steel towers and chimneys observed in Poland. The observed maximum displacements of the structure top were compared with computational data. The model presented by the authors at the Conference in Karlovy Vary [1] was applied in these calculations.
