AbstractThis is a brief abstract of a report published by the Construction Industry Research and Information Association, London on the criteria governing the striking time of formwork including alternative methods of determining the concrete strength required for striking. The factors affecting gain of strength of in-situ concrete are discussed, and methods of determining striking time are compared.
