Role of isoparaffins in oxidation of n-paraffins to fatty acids
Abstract The low selectivity of oxidation to paraffinic acids containing a tertiary CH bond is explained by its high reactivity to form tertiary hydroperoxides and alcohols converted to polyfunctional and low molecular weight acids.
