Eine Vorrichtung (3) zum Positionieren von Gleisbearbeitungsgeräten (2) am Gleis umfasst mindestens zwei Tragmodule (29, 30), mit jeweils mindestens einem Geräteträger (31a, 31b) zum Tragen des mindestens einen Gleisbearbeitungsgeräts (2), und einer Horizontalpositioniereinrichtung (32), an welcher der mindestens eine Geräteträger (31a, 31b) angebracht ist, zum Verlagern des mindestens einen Geräteträgers (31a, 31b) entlang einer Horizontalrichtung (33a), und eine Dreheinrichtung (24) zum rotatorischen Verlagern der mindestens zwei Tragmodule (29, 30), wobei die Dreheinrichtung (24) mindestens zwei Dreheinheiten (25, 26) zum jeweils voneinander unabhängigen rotatorischen Verlagern der mindestens zwei Tragmodule (29, 30) aufweist.
