A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Abstract The present invention relates to a gutter spacer (20) including a first means (24) for engaging with a section of guttering (G) and a second means (26) for engaging with a fascia (F). The first means (24) and second means (26) are 5 arranged so that the section of guttering (G) can be connected to the fascia (F). The gutter spacer further includes a spacer portion (28) that establishes in use of the gutter spacer (20) a spacing (S) between the fascia (F) and the section of guttering (G) to enable water from the guttering (G) to overflow through the spacing (S). The present invention also relates to a gutter spacer (80) including a first means (84, 85) for engaging with a section of guttering (G) and a second means (86) for engaging with a gutter suspension clip (10) arranged to be attached to a fascia (F). The first engaging means (84, 85) and second engaging means (86) 15 are arranged so that the section of guttering (G) can be connected via the gutter spacer (80) and the suspension clip (10) to the fascia (F). The gutter spacer (80) also includes a spacer portion (82b) that establishes a spacing (S) between the fascia (F) and the section of guttering (G) to enable water from the guttering (G) to overflow through the spacing (S).
