This invention relates to a rim lock assembly 1 for use with a door 2, the lock assembly 1 including a first actuator 6 operable from an inner side of the door 2 5 to move a latch bolt 9 relative to the door 2. A second actuator 8 operable from the outer side of the door which is controlled by an electric lock means 23 operable from the outer side of the door 2.
