- 37 Abstract The foldable sliding wall (1), which serves for closing an opening, comprises at least a first and a second wall element (11; 12) that are pivotally connected to one another and that 5 are pivotally held by a first and a second head carriage (5A, 5B), which are displaceably supported in a head rail (2). A first head fitting (71) is mounted at the upper side of the first wall element (11) and is connected to a first shaft, which is supported in a first carriage body (50A) of the first 10 head carriage (5A) and a second head fitting (71) is mounted at the upper side of the second wall element (12) and is connected to a second shaft, which is supported in a second carriage body (50B) of the second head carriage (5B). Said first head fitting comprises a first lever (713) that is 15 connected to the first shaft, which is a rotor shaft (711R) and said second head fitting (71) comprises a second lever (713) that is connected to the second shaft, which is a holding shaft (711H), said head rail (2) comprises a rotor channel (85) with at least one coupling member (8) having at 20 least one rotor chamber (81), and said rotor shaft (711R) is holding a rotor (712), which, if aligned in parallel to the head rail (2), is transferable within the rotor channel (85), and which, if aligned perpendicularly to the head rail (2), is arrested in the rotor chamber (81).
