Connection arrangements, pivots and mechanisms
A connection arrangement including a first part 10, a second part 20 and a member 4. The member is movable, relative to the first part, from a first position to a second 5 position. One of the first part and the second part defines a cavity 20c. When the member is in its first position, a portion of the other of the first part and the second part is receivable within the cavity. When the member is in its second position, one or more features or portions 8 of the first part are supported by the member and positioned to engage the second part to resist removal of the portion of the other of 10 the first part and the second part from the cavity. Also disclosed is a mechanism including structure 1, an element 2 and a spacer 3. The element is rotatable, relative to the structure, about an axis to axially drive one or more members. The spacer is arranged to space the element from the members. The spacer and the structure include features co-operable to prevent rotation of the spacer relative to the structure 15 to shield the element from movement of the members. Also disclosed is a mechanism 30 including a first unit 34, 37, 38, 39, 40, a second unit 31, 32, 33, 35 and a threaded member 36. The first unit and the second unit include features co-operable 33, 39e to prevent rotation of the second unit relative to the first unit. The second unit is movable relative to the first unit to a selected distance from the first unit. The threaded member 20 threadingly engages both the first unit and the second unit to set the selected distance. Also disclosed is a mechanism including a member 34 rotatable relative to the first unit and including an eccentric feature 34d co-operable with the second unit such that the member is rotatable to relatively move the second unit to a selected distance from the first unit.
