A lip refurbishing apparatus for an earth moving shovel comprises first and second spaced apart rails each in the form of an arch wherein an arcuate section of the arch is dimensioned to locate adjacent an edge of the lip and wherein straight portions of rail extend from opposite sides of the arch adjacent opposed sides of the lip; at least one member interconnecting the first and second spaced rails; at least one attachment member to engage the earth moving shovel; and a CNC carriage mounted to the rails for motion therealong to perform refurbishment operations on the lip in use. 1 ot 0r" 14$ AV NoO All ~ A 12'~lx\r
