An adjustable support assembly for supporting an edge of a panel. The assembly comprises a support member including first and second ends the first end including a coupling to enable connection of the support member to 15 an anchorage and the second end including a recess to receive and retain therein an edge of a panel. The coupling at the first end includes a collar which receives and retains the first end of the support and a fastener which secures the support assembly to the anchorage. The coupling is arranged so that the collar and fastener co -operate to enable adjustment of the elevation 20 of the support member relative to the anchorage. The adjustment of the elevation of the support member allows accommodation of misalignments between the support assembly and the panel, when connecting the panel to the support assembly wherein relative rotation between the collar and the support member allows the support member to move between a lowest 25 position relative to the collar and a highest position upon rotation of the collar. - - - ---- ---- --- tt
