LOCKING WASHER FOR BRACE MEMBERS Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus including a washer (102) coupled to a strut (104), the strut (104) including an interior channel (108), an opening (110) formed through an end wall, and a set of turned-in ends (112), wherein the washer (102) includes an engagement surface having a set of protrusions for engaging a surface of the strut (104). The apparatus further includes a fastener (120) for securing the washer (102) to the strut (104), the fastener (120) having an opening for receiving support therein. In some embodiments, the protrusions are teeth that drive into the strut material when torqued, resulting in a mechanical connection with the strut and much higher slip resistance. Further, the washer (102) is shaped to fit around an outside of the strut (104), thus adding additional stability and load capacity. tD t -D N aD
