The invention discloses a buckling restrained brace with a locking device, and relates to the technical field of buckling restrained braces.The buckling restrained brace is characterized in that a restraining component of the buckling restrained brace is arranged on the outer side of an energy consumption core in a sleeving mode, end plates comprise the bottom end plate and the top end plate, and the restraining component and the energy consumption core are welded to the bottom end plate; the energy consumption core and the end sleeve are welded to the top end plate. The locking device is fixed on the inner side of the end sleeve; the two limiting pieces are fixed to the outer side of the restraining component, and the locking device is located between the two limiting pieces. When the locking device moves along with the end sleeve and makes contact with any limiting piece on the two sides, the locking device returns to the initial zero position under the reciprocating earthquake effect, the locking device plays a locking role, and the relative movement of the end sleeve and the restraining component is limited. A reciprocating action mechanism of an earthquake load is combined with a locking device to realize self-resetting. After the locking device is triggered, the supporting rigidity and the bearing capacity are remarkably improved.
