STORAGE TANK INSULATION JOINT APPARATUS AND METHOD There is disclosed a method, comprising: forming an elongate recessed channel between a first insulation panel (210) and a second insulation panel (210) adjacent to the first insulation panel (210) on an upper surface (201) of a fluid storage tank (100) by installing an insulation section (211) between the first insulation panel (210) and the second insulation panel (210); and installing in the recessed channel over the insulation section (211) a strip (230) comprising an impermeable material and having a first side (231) that extends along substantially the entire length of the recessed channel, the recessed channel and the strip (230) cooperating to form a first joint between the first insulation panel (210) and the second insulation panel (210).
