Rail assemblies for motorized architectural coverings and related methods
Examples of rail assemblies for architectural coverings disclosed herein stabilize motor assemblies via end caps to reduce transfers of vibrational motor forces to the rails. An example rail (102) for an architectural covering includes a housing (206), a motor (202) to be disposed in the housing (206), and an end cap (104) to be coupled to said housing (206). The example rail (102) includes a track (116, 120) defined in an exterior face (118) of the rail (102). A first portion (114) of the end cap (104) is to be received in the track. The end cap (104) is capable of at least two degrees of freedom of motion relative to the housing (206) prior to the first portion (114) being received in the track (116, 120). In the example rail (102), the track (116, 120) is to restrict the at least two degrees of freedom of motion of the end cap (104) when the first portion (114) of the end cap (104) is received in the track (116, 120).
