Modification of our North East Link
Abstract Improvements to our previously lodged patent application for our alternative to Melbourne's North East Link road project that includes acquiring a thin triangular strip from the rear of the most westerly property in Ilma Court so its boundary aligns with the road alignment, building a vertical wall besides this new boundary and realigning the roadway so it passes beside this wall and then swings around so it aligns with Bulleen Rd before or near the entrance to the Veneto Club building. Vertical sound barriers are installed along the median strip in the vicinity of the above vertical wall for increased sound attenuation. The gradient of Banyule Creek is reduced so the roadway over the creek can be built around 2.5 metres below the adjacent homes. The roadway over the billabong is raised about three metres above the area around the edge of the billabong and having bus lanes that allow other vehicles to use the lane on the condition they must vacate the lane if they are preventing a bus from traveling at the maximum allowable speed. r Drawin ia
