-9 Abstract A height adjustable footing plate for attachment to a post comprising a foot, a post support and an adjustment mechanism for altering a height of the post support relative to the foot, the foot comprising a planar webbing and a plurality of supports 5 attached to the planar webbing, the planar webbing having an aperture formed therein, the adjustment mechanism comprising an internally threaded bushing connected to two shoulders, the threaded bushing being rotatably located within the aperture of the planar webbing with the shoulders located on either side of the planar webbing, the post support comprising a threaded member engaged with the 10 threaded bushing so that rotation of the bushing causes raising and lowering of the post support relative to the foot.
